This graphic novel was inspired by an activity from my own days as a grade 6 science teacher, in which I assigned students the task of creating a travel brochure for another planet. When I was asked to create a graphic story about the solar system, it was a no brainer, as I’d more or less done all the research. Ironically, by the time the book was published, I’d moved to primary homeroom.
These books were written for Scholastic Education's Literacy Place series, and are sold in packages with lesson plans and containing multiple books - the prices reflect this.
